Inspiration and Motivation

Seriously if you are on a weight loss journey of any sort this is the place to find all you need!! I can't believe the amazing people I have already made friends with in just 2 days! Their success stories alone are enough to motivate you, but they are so welcoming and willing to encourage the newest member for no reason other than they themselves have been there!

I strongly encourage anyone to make a profile and just dive in!! This is just what I needed to stay motivated!!

From Fluffy to Fabulous Week 3 Summay

So here is Week 3 in review..

If you remember at my Week 2 summary I told you how I hurt my foot.. So this week was spent trying to figure out what I could do with my ankle so that I could work out without hurting it any further..

Feeling a lot better about losing again.. Although I hope to lose 3-4lbs in the next two weeks. Although this is the beginning of Week 4 it ends on the 2nd of the month and I didn't start until the 6th of August so I won't be done with a full month until the end of Week 5. I am hoping to lose a pound a week.. In a years time that is 52lbs by the end of next summer.. Which really I don't need to lose that much. My goal is to be down to 125-130... Which is 35-40lbs.. I don't want to be stick thin.. That's not attractive to me.. I want to be curvy and sexy.. Which is what I was before I got pregnant with the twins..

Which is where I was the first week.. So I lost the two pounds I gained back last week!  Moving on to week 4...

I still haven't started the walking.. I hate our hill that we live on, it's trecherous!! But this week I vow to add in more of the pilates.. Weekends are a little harder because hubby is home and I don't like working out in front of him! But I will try harder to send him to the bedroom to watch TV while I workout in the living room!

Injury=Bad week! :-(

Okay so by the end of week 1 I was down a little over a pound..  But at the beginning of week 2 I hurt my ankle.. :-(

So here is my Week 2 review and then I'll go further into detail

I was crushed that I gained.. But there wasn't anything I could do about it.. My foot hurt and I couldn't figure out how to make it better.. So this week I tried wrapping it with an ace bandage.. Didn't help.. Then I figured maybe it was because I was working out without any shoes on... So far this week I only worked out once (that's when I tried it with the wrap) and today I figured it may be the shoe thing.. So tonight I will try it with shoes.. If I can't do it then I will at least do my pilates.. My foot has started to feel better.. What hurts the most is jumping jacks and lunges (side and front). Hoping this week to be back to my Week 1 ending if not less!! I will update again Tomorrow Morning with the end of Week 3's weigh in

Okay.. stopping to log my diary for last week. I'm not keeping a food log, although I probably should but I will give you what I am keeping track of. And just an FYI I am doing measurements every two weeks instead of weekly..

I need to watch better what I am eating. I've noticed if I skip lunch I lose the next day but if I eat lunch I gain, so I need to find more healthy foods to eat. This morning I ate breakfast and wasn't hungry at lunch time, so we shall see if this helps. I also need to eat smaller portions at dinner, but when I skip lunch I am starving by dinner time. So healthier meals and more fruit is in my future for next week...

From Fluffy to Fabulous Week 1 Weigh In

So.....

Down 1.2lbs.. It's not much but it's a start...

I'm happy to say that I made it thru the whole 30 Day Shred movie last night.. It says it's 20 minutes, but they lied!! Lol.. it's 27 minutes 30 seconds. Once the kids start school I am going to try and add in some walking in the mornings.. But that may not be right after the bat.. I'm already giving up lots of goodies (and I like my food) but now to add on top of it giving up sleep.. That's a lot to give up right away..

Restart Date...

So after my last post in June I said I was going to do the 30 Day Shred for 30 days.. I failed.. I did it one day and quit.. A month later I regretted not keeping with it, but I just didn't have the time worked out so that I could fit it in..

So here it is the beginning of August and I made a promise to myself that I WILL do it this time. I just went through and reread all of my blog starting with my first day of the HCG diet.. This did nothing but motivate me to keep on keeping on.

I did start my 30 Day Shred challange on August 6th and will post every few days with the updates..

I've started doing the 30 Day Shred during the twins' naptime. The first day I could only make it through 7 mins of the workout before I couldn't do it any longer..  I am up to 18 mins and 30 seconds. My goal each time I do it is to do it a little longer than the last time.. Yesterday was the first day I missed doing the workout.. It was hard to fit in with one of my twins' waking up at 4am and staying up til 8am and then hubbs had leave and let me sleep in til 2pm and then I didn't want to do my workout in front of him.. But I am getting ready to do my workout for today.. Although it is 10:28pm and we are getting ready for bed I am going to make him go watch tv in our room and then I won't feel quite so self conscience about it..

I will do my weekly weigh ins on Sunday morning and post to keep my followers updated.. So I have 2 months to look good. We go to the race in Kansas in October and I want to be looking good by then.

I will post a before pic. This was taken in June at family reunion..

Hit and miss...

I so need to be able to stay motivated.. So I am committing myself to 30 days.. I will be starting the 30 day Shred tomorrow.. I know at first I won't be able to do the whole thing without breaks at first as I've tried it several times. But I will try my damndest to get through it.. I will commit myself to 30 days of it and maybe that will be motivation after I see some results.. Tomorrow before I get started I will post current before pics and will keep track of inches as well because I know I will be getting toned as well and the numbers on the scale may not show that I am losing but the inches will.. So first weigh in is in just two days. I don't expect to see a loss but tomorrow is day 1 of my 30 days. I also posted a ton of befores and afters on my pintrest to keep me motivted!!

Getting back on the horse..

So since the last post I made I quit doing the HCG... It's too hard, unrealistic and isn't the life change that I needed to make for long term weight loss.. I have since tried Weight Watchers as well.. Dieting is not my favorite and when I tend to go on a diet I eat more just knowing that I can't.. So I am going old school.. Portion control and exercise.. So since all the fad diets I know sit at a steady 166.. Maybe posting (as it automatically posts to my facebook as well for all my friends and family to read) I can be held accountable instead of just keeping my weight to myself.. So tonight I went for a 1.5 mile track.. Not a big effort, but a start just the same.. So I will do weekly weigh ins on Monday mornings.. Even though today is Wednesday it will be my start date for this week...
